From the looks of Sean Salisbury tweet from Monday morning, it seems like the former ESPN Football analyst was forced to decline an offer to join LSU's staff as an offensive analyst due to compliance issues.

News flash: Salisbury didn’t decline, LSU Compliance notified he and the LSU coaching staff that it would be a violation for him to join the staff given his training of current QB recruits (including Grant Gunnel). Major fail, TD Staff Reporter. Major, major fail.

Damn I miss he and Clayton's back and forth. That shite was gold. Outside that, Coach O and 7SU must be getting desperate.

Seems like a reasonable conflict of interest. With that being said, I miss Salisbury bullying John Clayton in the older days of ESPN NFL coverage.

Hah yeah and Clayton’s facial reactions when Sean was giving him the business were great.

That shite was classic. John would give it back to him and Salisbury would be spitting and drooling all over the place. How the hell was he going to be a qb coach
