Florida head coach Jim McElwain confirmed on Wednesday’s SEC teleconference that defensive back Deiondre Porter has been suspended indefinitely after reports surfaced that he is facing multiple felony charges. Per Jacksonville.com:

Two days after quarterback Will Grier was suspended because of the use of a substance banned by the NCAA, redshirt freshman defensive back Deiondre Porter was suspended indefinitely after being charged with four felony counts: two of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, aggravated battery and firing a weapon into a vehicle or building.

He also is charged with property damage of less than $200, a misdemeanor.
Porter has played in four games this season and registered two tackles.
