I never thought I'd say this, but LF7 is to blame as much as Miles last night. He fumbled twice, and one was a 14-point swing. I have to give him credit for doing different things last night. It was ugly, but we won last night. If we win next week at Auburn, even it's egregious and by one point, I will take it. Let's flip the script from 2014 when we beat Wisconsin and lost to Auburn and Mississippi State and beat Auburn next week. We will have to work hard to do it though.

I thought Tommy Tuberville was on the sideline in the second half coaching in a Les-suit.

I am hard as they come on les, but the only thing he did was waste a little time before the half with run plays. We threw a lot in the 2nd half, Etling just wasn't quite as accurate. The reason this one came down to the wire is LF's two fumbles that each resulted in TD's for Moo St. Our defense was gassed and Moo St put together some good SEC drives. I think Les opened the play style a bit and I thoroughly enjoyed the 1st half of the game. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed our Offense. CLM still needs to be held responsible for sitting on the better talent, but all in all, Etling made his first start against an SEC opponent that ALWAYS plays us close (even in the saban years). Good game guys, take care of the football and come down with a few more passes and we're very much still in this.

We threw alot in the 2nd. half? I didn't check the 4th qtr., but Etling was 2-4 in the 3rd. That sure is a lot of passes!~~~

Good game by the players but another horrible outing for Cam with his retarded play calling. What is it going to take before Miles realize his OC is holding this team back. This guy Doesn't have a feel for Play calling period!

You really shouldn't comment on these things because its apparent you have zero knowledge of the game of football.

And just like last year against Moo State somehow we find a way to almost lose the game our opponent has absolutely NO BUSINESS being in. Miles NEVER steps on his opponents throat. Play not to lose mentality almost bites us in the arse again!!!

You are so right. I have been screaming this for years. As soon as LSU goes up by double digits, Les calls off the dogs. As soon as we were ahead, the whole offensive philosophy changed. This game should have been a blowout. But Les always finds a way to keep it close. We're not seen as a contender for this exact reason. It will continue to be this way until we hire a coach that is willing to run the score up on opponents. That's why we don't move up when we win and freefall when we lose. Because Les Miles refuses to show the country how good this team really is. One of the many reasons he should have been fired 3 years ago.
