Despite LSU starting the season 5-0 with two wins against Top-10 teams away from Tiger Stadium, ESPN College Football analyst Desmond Howard is not impressed with the Tigers.

Howard joined The Paul Finebaum Show on Friday and had this to say about LSU:
quote:

"LSU isn't impressive, Alabama is impressive. LSU is OK, they've won games and they've looked good but they haven't looked great. I'm not impressed by them they are going to be challenged by Florida."

Alabama with Tua does look very impressive...they are making it look way too easy...I don't see them losing this year to anyone in the SEC... Maybe OSU is the best team to challenge them

Passionate followers of LSU football and recruiting know we are not elite at this time... too many missing pieces, we lack depth...and what makes it worse is the NFL raids our best Juniors every dang year!!!!!!!!! Every year...so we get maybe 2 years out of our best players maybe 2...some suffer injuries and just coast into the draft.... so, I don't know anymore

They were impressively hyped by TD Staff Reporters: rudest of all Tiger Ree. Burrow 2X SEC Playa of da WEAK opponents. Tonight against a legit Defense and real HC/OC Burrow had 5 Sacks, 1 Fumble/lost, and 2 Ints - 1 a Pick Six. He had a 33 QBR and 91.3 Passer Rating - and the best SEC games are yet to come. Burrow better look for a Burrow to hide in.
