ESPN Unveils Early Bowl Projection For LSU

The 2020 College Football season has not started yet for LSU and the rest of the SEC but Mark Schlabach at ESPN already has an early bowl projection for the defending champs.

Schlabach is predicting that the Tigers will miss out on the College Football Playoff but play North Carolina in the Peach Bowl, a New Year's Six Bowl game.

ESPN will be wrong again. Didn’t their final power rankings still put OSU and Clemson ahead of LSU? They have no credibility.

Peach bowl would not be terrible in this rebuilding year and with chase sitting out. Of course I’m going out on a limb and saying we will make the final four. Clemson didn’t look great. The big 12 went 0-3 vs the sun belt last week. This thing is wide open.

Agreed....... my 2 yr old grandson could make that prediction. Kinda like the loser meteorologist totally missing again on Sally until the last minute. I could make that forecast at this late juncture.

Schlabach has us in a New Years 6 bowl game. How is that writing us off considering how many players we've lost? Nobody knows the LSU team like LSU staff and fans, so why should the national media or any other groups put us in a playoff game?

For thebsame reason they project Bama, Clemson, and all these other big name schools! Just like LSU, Bama lost it's star QB along with a ton of talent on both sides of the ball! Clemson lost everyone except Lawrence and Etienne! So why do they get a pass and we don't!? LSU is still unbelievably stacked and if you dont know that, you clearly don't know LSU or anything about college football for that matter!
