The updated Football Power Index (FPI) rankings from ESPN heading into Week 1 of the 2024 College Football season has LSU ranked No. 12.

The Tigers open against USC on Sunday in Las Vegas, with the Trojans at No. 18 in the FPI.

Yeah right now the FPI is SOS and the teams rankings which are obviously just a guess because how could Florida St. be #10 and lose to Georgia tech. Of corse any games played so far create data points that add to these calculations.
