Ed Orgeron met with the media in Atlanta after the team's first practice and provided an update on running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire who suffered a hamstring injury last week in practice.

Orgeron said that Edwards-Helaire is no longer on crutches and is "a little bit better" but is "still day-to-day" for the Peach Bowl this Saturday.

Orgeron also added that Edwards-Helaire still has a chance to play...

I hope this will not have hamstrung LSU against OU.

If he's able to play against OU keep him on the sidelines unless you absolutely need him. Otherwise, another couple of weeks of healing and we should see a healthy CEH in the Natty!

I only want him back in if he is 100% or really wants to play. He earned my meaningless blessing after he became a man during the Bama game. Go play the long-ball and make some money CEH, you deserve it after all the hard work you put in!!!

Dress him out but don’t start him. If we are down in the second half put him in if he thinks he can go.

The coaches will do what is best for the Clyde and the team.

There's no way he should play, all it'll do is hurt us. Him at 75 percent or so, isn't better then price at 100 percent. Plus if he rests then he will probably be closer to 100 percent then if he were to play saturday

This is not a regular season game. Nothing is guaranteed. If he can play let him play.

Oklahoma does not to appear to be as big as a threat as OSU or Clemson. We beat Oklahoma resting CEH but definitely would need him in the finals.

Merry Christmas indeed. Fan/team reasons aside I really hope for Clyde he gets to go. Dude has earned the right to be in this spot.
