Steve Franz - LSU Athletics
LSU head coach Ed Orgeron met with the media on Thursday afternoon and said that true freshman Saahdiq Charles will start at right guard vs. BYU.

Charles was battling with true freshman Ed Ingram, who will also see playing time in the BYU game, according to Coach O.

Orgeron talked about both players earlier this week during the SEC Coaches Teleconference.

I saw Ingram play in Texas state championship game. Great motor kept hitting until the whistle blew, every play. He will be a great Tiger.

Glad the competition was that close. Now we have a capable backup in Ingram if Charles falters or injury related. It's a long season, so Ingram will be needed. Good luck to Charles!
