Whatever happens at QB the O needs to evolve. 111th in Scoring at 21 ppg when the Top 10 teams are 46-65 ppg. LSU is 2-2, unranked, with the #2 SEC, #5 national team roster over 4 yrs, no Top Ten finishes. That is the WORST talent vs performance gap in the FBS. 4 of the Top 5 Teams are DTQB/Tempo/RPO/Spreads. 7 of the AP Top 25 ending 2015 were DTQB/Tempo/RPO/Spreads and 5 of them never had a top 20 recruiting class. 2015: LSU 7-0 #2: Harris at 7-0, w/0 INTS/0 fumbles, was 68%, in 4 SEC games (MSST,AUB-3-TDS,SCAR-2-TDs,FLA-2-TDs)averaging 39 pts/game. Unless LSU, averaging <18 pts over the last 7 SECW/P5 regular season opponents, ALA - Aub, can score 45-60 pts they may go 0-4 against ALA/ARK/OM/TAMU. They have no offensive identity and you cannot expect our "style of play" to remain, predictable I-formation, under center, 18 pts/gm, out-of-date 2TE/FB/1-2WR. LF is not the 2015 freak of nature who makes cuts in 0.2 seconds, faster than the blink of an eye with 5Gs of force on his ankles, 0-22 mph in 1 sec. He is heavier, slower, injured and after 4 games has 2 TDs vs 11, 350 yds vs 850 he had after 4 games last year when he was the fastest player to reach 1,000 yds.

I like Danny Etling, but damn, his eyeblack looks like he got hit in the face with a chocolate pie.

Etling has had 3 starts and looks better than Harris has ever looked in 2 seasons. That might have something to do with it. Lol.

And remind us again what Danny has done to win the starting job? Coach O should bench Danny and Brandon and give Lindsey or Justin a shot.

Deservedly so. I think it's good that he mentioned Brandon Harris possibly coming in if Danny struggles too. Maybe light a fire under Danny's butt, while sending a message to Harris to stay ready.
