Head coach Ed Orgeron revealed Monday that backup quarterback Myles Brennan has been dealing with an injury that has affected his throwing throughout the year and kept him from playing this season.

Orgeron said that he has spoken with Brennan and his father and all parties involved are fine with him redshirting this season.

Orgeron added that Myles can be a "championship quarterback" for LSU in the future.

Just an excuse not to play him when LSU is close with Rice.

I was under the impression from O that Brennan was ready to go when called upon!

Are they serious? This man can still play in 4 freaking games and redshirt. Minor injury is keeping him out from playing at all???

Wtf is your problem with Brennan? I guess you are one of the Narcisse lovers who polished his knob at every turn when it was obvious that Narcisse was #4 at best in the QB rotation. You obviously are not an LSU fan and have some grudge against Brennan so go find another team to pull for where you can be happy. Retard.

Hopefully he's learned a lot behind Burrow re: what it takes to be a leader and a champion. He has the tools but seemed so soft. Here's to a new Myles next season, mates!

@winston do tell/explain how he is "soft", what basis you have for that random assessment and use any data to support it. thanks

@jdrn21...winston probably should have used the word slight instead of soft. Listed at 6'-5" and 183#, slight is more of an accurate description, IMO.
