I wouldn't want Ingram either if he's guilty. But why do you praise Mettenberger? He pleaded guilty to sexual battery. But he was a great QB.

He grabbed a girls butt at a bar...

And the girl he grabbed was the daughter of a UGA Administrator. If I recall correctly she was the daughter of the Chancellor.

Suspension upon charges. Let the system play out. Upon acquittal, reinstatement to the team. Don’t assume. Let the facts come out. Upon conviction/plea, cut from the team.

Ingram needs the same Bama lawyer Fulton had.

This is completely different and involves a female/girl so I’m not pulling for him the same I was Fulton.

So he should be able to play, if he’s innocent until proven guilty, correct? What is he suspended from a football team for, if he’s not guilty in a legal matter, separate from school? Serious question..could the program see sanctions if he plays and is later found guilty?

Actually, I agree with this.

Innocent until proven guilty is a legal phrase and has to do with crime and punishment. It is our right as Americans. We do not have the right as Americans to represent LSU on the football field. When law enforcement makes an arrest, they usually gather facts beforehand. They interview witnesses. Where there is smoke... I am not saying he is guilty. I do not know. But, unless the cops are totally wrong and have botched their duty, something happened. He may be found innocent, but I would not want him representing LSU football while this huge cloud hangs over him.
