LSU linebacker Devin White met with the media Wednesday and was asked about the upcoming Alabama matchup and what the game means to him.

White responded by saying the game is not a rivalry in his eyes because rivalries go back and forth and he hasn't beaten Alabama yet.
quote:

"It's a big game but it's not a rivalry game to me," White said. "A rivalry game is someone that you beat back and forth. I'm 0-1 against them. We have to go in there and do what we have been doing the past couple weeks... just playing LSU Football.

"At the end of the day, both schools put a lot of players in the NFL. We respect each other but when your on the field there's no friendship with any team."

After the Troy loss he said “some don’t know what it means to an LSU Tiger.” And he’s not blaming them, he just called them out on it and leads by example in word and action.

DW will go down as one of the great Tigers. His attitude, work ethic, leadership skills, and even his interviews are spot on. This kid is legit. Wish nothing but the best for him in his future after leaving BR.

Its time to beat the gumps, theres no way we should have lost 6 games in a row to the gumps. We need to get over the hump and beat their arse for a change. Stop their run, and get after it on offense, its on our lines, especially the O-line, got to block, got to. GEAUX TIGERS

Well said! Bring the wood Devin. Fire that DEF front 7 up and get after their running game. Let our DB's lock down their receivers and don't let Bama ground/pound us all night. Get off the field on 3d down and we'll like where we are when the end of the game comes around. GT!

Ik we're not going to keep him the full 4 years, but just imagine him staying his senior year what that could do for us as a program. Convincing top players to stay the full terms

More than the gumps, I despise the Louisiana Gumps. Just saying that there is motivation to show up in Tuscaloosa with frozen sugar cane

If LSU neutralizes the run and forces Bama to rely on the passing game. This game is more than winnable. Bamas offense shrods Hurts inability in the passing game. It was heavily exposed when they played LSU last year. The offense just couldn't put up any points. When No Scarborough went down in the title game the Bama offense became obsolete. Stop the run, and Bama can be beat.
