CBS Sports College Football writer Brad Crawford says the SEC is "primed to shatter" its own record for first-round picks in the 2027 NFL Draft.

The SEC had 15 first-round selections in 2021, but Crawford named 18 players who could break the record next year.

If Trinidad has 1st round grade. Why wait till a draft with a number of QB's vs this year with 2 QB's.

I can't find any logical reason why he did not declare this year. There's absolutely nothing he can do next year that would make his stock higher than it was 3 months ago.

He didn't go into the draft this year because he had the same draft grade as Diego Pavia.

Leavitt has all the measurable traits as well; if he has a good season overcoming the foot injury he’ll quickly shoot up like Burrow and Jayden.

Leavitt has first round potential. Would also add Ty.

Crazy that the first 4 (from the SEC only), would have gone 1 or 2 in the 2026 Draft.
