LSU Football lost three key members of the personnel department this week and could turn to a familiar face to fill the Director Of Player Personnel position.
Current LSU Director Of Player Personnel Will Redmond is expected to take a new job at Auburn, and assistant personnel staffers Mike Ferrara and Jeremiah Bogan are headed to UConn and Indiana.
There has been some chatter this offseason that LSU could try to lure Austin Thomas back to Baton Rouge to run the personnel department. According to The Advocate, those conversations have happened:

Thomas has been at Ole Miss the last two years as the chief of staff, but there have been conversations about him returning to LSU, sources told The Advocate.
Thomas previously worked with the Tigers from 2013-17. One of the first people in college football to receive a general manager title in 2016, he returned to Baton Rouge for the 2021 season after stints at Texas A&M and Baylor.
