Cam Cameron Is Going Back Up To The Press Box For The Jacksonville State Game
by TD Staff ReporterSeptember 6, 2016

Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron will return to the press box, according to head coach Les Miles who met with the media on Tuesday.
Cameron was on the sideline for the season opener against Wisconsin last week.
Cameron coached from the press box in 2015, but was down on the sideline for LSU's Bowl victory last season.

Every game we start out in two TE one WR set and try to run left of center and then when it doesn't work like last week (3 straight runs) we follow up with 3 straight in completes to double covered Malachi Dupre. Spread out the field and get in a freaking 3 WR set and then take what the defense gives you (read option and RPO "run pass option"). Just call Coach Petrino or Freeze, they can explain it to you.

Was't Cam in the booth last year? Great! Now we will be as good as last year.

Alabama hires another offensive minded guru like Steve Sarkisian and Cam Cameron is going up in the booth. That should show them we are serious about improving the offense.

Press box, sidelines, watching it on a moniter in line at the concession stand, shite it won't matter. He's awful

I fail to see how this will improve our play... the issues lie between the ears of a single player who is responsible for navigating this ship. Will Cam have a seat with him in the press box?

Where no one will notice his headset is playing relaxing music from iTunes and not even connected to the box

I was kinda hoping Les was going to announce both he and Cam would be coaching from the parking lot. Oh well I guess there's always the next game! It's really difficult to take these kinds of updates seriously.

Dude has great name value having been the head coach at Indiana and in Miami, but he wasn't good at either and wasn't that great of an OC. But he has the name and the resume and his LM's friend, but he is far from imaginative. Other coaches put their players in the best situations to succeed. LSU does not. No one does less with more than Cameron...and Les. Les can recruit a semi-pro team, but they don't coach them up at all.

Miles not enacting change is more proof he's incompetent as the HC. Demote cams arse or fire him. Announce that both qbs will play and the qb competition is reopened. My gosh do something. He's so disconnected it's really pitiful. Les has no clue anymore. He either checked out last year and don't care or he's delusional. No way any HC at any level should be this ignorant to the elephant in the room

You hit the nail on the head. I have supported Miles up until now. How he could go thru what transpired last season and not realize the importance of making changes is beyond me. How he can witness the continued pathetic play of Harris and do absolutely nothing is simply unbelievable.
