Following LSU's first practice of fall camp on Thursday, head coach Brian Kelly spoke with the media and talked about wide receiver Kayshon Boutte who is returning from an injury.

Boutte, a junior from New Iberia, La., played in five-game last year before suffering a season-ending injury vs. Kentucky. He finished with 38 receptions for 509 yards and 9 touchdowns.

He was recently named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List last month.

He’s been off. I’m sure it’s an adjustment, especially after all of the end of season sit outs last year. There’s a new boss in town.

New discipline has arrived on the LSU practice field and we will have to wait on the results

I love how he’s pushing the best player on the team instead of coddling him.

Most coaches are smart enough to do that and the others who might not don’t have the balls to wrangle their Top players. Kelly knows he is playing with house money at LSU. It’s a privilege to play at LSU and if you ain’t ready he is moving his focus to another elite athlete who will listen and subsequently get paid in the league. Seems like Boutte and his father are on board and understand Kelly knows what he is doing. I’m excite
