BK seems to forget that last year on RZ short yardage they got stiffed as well going up the middle. If JD5 went outside that gave them a chance. QB sneak with a push on 4th and 1. The IOL is weak amd gets no push at all.

He forgot 1st, 2nd, and 4th and 1 and you still can’t convert

Coach Obvious strikes again. Instead of stating what EVERYONE knows, tell us how to improve play calling and coaching Nuss to recognize that a run for 2 yards when you need only 1 is ok.

BK’s a damn genius. I had no idea we were garbage on 3rd and short.

I don’t think it’s bout getting hurt. We r lucky he isn’t the way S.C. was teeing off on him. So pass or run what’s the difference? At least running he can see them coming.

Any run plays besides hand the ball if in shotgun and have the rb run up the centers arse would be nice

Won't happen unless our QB is a run threat.

A start would be to quit being so predictable. Don't get in the shotgun where the run play is so slow developing. use some more under center where the back can get to the line quicker. Try running outside more often. Install some pistol so the back can get running down hill and run to where the opening is. Allow Nuss to run real read option. There have been numerous times he could have pulled and run for a 1st then just fall down if they are so worried about him getting hurt. Again, don't be so damn predictable.

I saw a number of times that Nuss could have run and pick it up....and Defenses know he wont run the ball so they dont even worry about him at all.

This for sure, “Install some pistol so the back can get running down hill and run to where the opening is.”
Tired of seeing our RBs take a handoff while flat-footed 5-yds behind the line of scrimmage.

Insane that there is not a single pistol formation in this offense
