Brian Kelly Provides Injury Updates On Emery Jones, Zy Alexander, & Inactive Cornerbacks

Brian Kelly spoke on the SEC Coaches Teleconference Wednesday morning and provided injury updates on right tackle Emery Jones and cornerback Zy Alexander.
Kelly said that Emery Jones will practice today and is expected to play against Alabama. Jones suffered a leg injury vs. Auburn and did not play vs. Army.
Alexander is still in the evaluation process and will miss some time. Kelly added that he will be evaluated over the next couple of weeks. Alexander suffered a leg injury during the Army game last week while returning an interception as the clock expired before halftime.
Kelly was also asked about inactive cornerbacks Denver Harris and Duce Chestnut and what they need to do to become active.
"It's internal things I'm not able to discuss," Kelly said. "They're not with us. I'd rather talk about guys who are with us."
