I never knew Kelly took a lot of time off or wasn't welcoming back former players or not hitting the recruiting trail hard until a lot of stuff started coming out after he was gone. Thing that surprised me the most was his attitude toward former players and something I heard about recruits having to schedule appointments with him.

The appointment allegation is just mind boggling to me. How does someone with that much experience not understand that the players make the team and the ones we want have been catered to most of their lives from Pop Warner to high school?

He may think like Saban but I haven't seen that fire that the GOAT brought to press conferences and the sideline. LK is more soft spoken and tactful. We'll see which way it works out this season.
