"If you had 20 job offers....wouldn't you take the one that best suits your long term needs"

If I had 20 job offers, I wouldn't commit to one immediately. I would do my due dilligence then honor the commitment I made.

Last time I checked John Chavis had sent a few guys to the NFL, also. Dvinity is right in approaching this as a business decision. Ought to take his college major and future plans beyond football into account.

I de-commit because of coaching uncertainty. The uncertainty is gone but he still doesn't re-commit? Hmmm...

He's turning down the opportunities of immediate playing time and hero status with the home team that just happens to put moreguys in th NFL than anyone else, playing with local guys that would be like brothers to him, to go to an out of state school where is family and friends would have to travel to see him? Thats business?

Relax a-holes. Why wouldn't this kid want to make sure he is going to a stable environment that benefits him? Quit getting all butthurt over a kid doing his due diligence

If you had 20 job offers....wouldn't you take the one that best suits your long term needs? Most of you never had a 1st job offer though....other than Arby's so I'm not surprised
