Patterson is the No. 1 pro-style quarterback in the country and the No. 1 player from the state of Louisiana, according to Rivals.

The 6-2, 195-pound prospect holds offers from most major college football programs from around the country but Ole Miss, LSU, and USC are believed to be at the top of his list, according to the ShreveportTimes.com:
quote:

Ole Miss, Southern Cal and LSU are thought to be near the top of Patterson’s list, but other top offers include Alabama, Auburn, Arizona, Notre Dame, Texas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

“Playing time is huge. But I really want to go in with a coaching staff that I can work with and have good relationships with,” Patterson said in an early February interview with The Times. “I want to be comfortable with a quarterbacks coach that I work with day in and day out.

“Is it comfortable in all aspects from the atmosphere to inside the football offices to the offense? I want to go somewhere that’s going to get me the most NFL ready.

I have heard lots of people in the know ( Coach Nader, mr. Bonnette, Mr Jones former tiger, etc.) and all predict Mr. Many Miles will be our next Matt Flynn, smart engineer style QB leading the Tigers to battle once mama Miles gives the okay. Look for average QB play leading to his takeover in the fall of 2016. Bank it

and we beat yalls best offensive team ever with nothing but backups in 2013. This game will be close no matter how good the teams are. we were one holding call away from going up 14-0 and yall would have never recovered.

Trending up? LSU started a team full of Freshmen last season and still beat Ole Miss. That is the "trend" that will continue whether Freeze is in Oxfudd or not.

Here's to Ole Miss. 2014 was awesome. Arguably your best team in history and arguably our worst in a decade and we still beat you. Sux to be an Ole Miss fan.

LSU has a commitment fron Felipe Franks who is a Rivals 100 player and a QB. Why the Hell do some of you seem to not understand this?? I suppose you just want to bash Miles and LSU no matter what because you simply are ignoring reality and your post makes no damn sense at all.

"I really do but I'm sick of everyone just casting aside 2012 and 2013"

Les is himself casting aside 2012 and 2013 by continually going after "athletes" and trying to make them QB's instead of signing a QB. Get mad at the boss that keeps picking the wrong QB and offense, not the fans.

The last 2 LA quarterbacks that opted for ole miss were developed into a h-back/tight end and wildcat backup.

Here comes the "North Louisiana is ignored by LSU" crap again. LSU has recruited North Louisana just as hard as it has anywhere else. Truth be known, many North Lousiana kids just aren't as loyal to LSU as the kids in Central and South Louisiana. In Shea Patterson's case the kid isn't even from Louisiana to begin with and it seems that he is playing games with his recruitment to help his brother out. LSU has more loyalty from Felipe Franks who lives in Florida but has family ties to Louisiana. Franks WANTS to be at LSU. I'm pleased with him and happy he is committed to LSU. Patterson on the other hand may commit to whoever today but they will have to sweat out his commitment until signing day. Good Luck to Mr Patterson.

"Less and staff continue to do a poor job recruiting in North Louisiana. They've pretty much said "to hell with them" to N La players before they've even committed." You sound ignorant.
