by TD Staff ReporterNovember 29, 2017
LSU running back coach Tommie Robinson has been recruiting all over Alabama this week and stopped by Birmingham on Tuesday night to visit with major LSU running back target Harold Joiner.
Joiner, a four-star prospect from Mountain Brook HS is top uncommitted running back target on LSU's board for the class of 2018.
The 6-3, 218-pound prospect is the No. 5 running back in the country and the No. 3 overall player from the state of Alabama for the class of 2018, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

I've watched his JR highlights and TBH, I was not all that impressed. he is very tall and runs completely upright. His running style is that of a speed back but he doesn't really have 4.4 speed. He looks to avoid contact at all costs and rarely, if ever, finishes his runs strong. He is also often being taken down by a single tackler.
This kid is definitely a specimen and we could find a position for him whether it be slot WR or F-Back but I would be very surprised if he was ever a impact RB at LSU.
I hope I'm wrong cuz he seems like a nice kid and he is a big boy.
