LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda and tight end coach Steve Ensminger were in Shreveport, La on Tuesday night to visit with four-star linebacker commit Micah Baskerville.


The 6-2, 215-pound prospect is one three players from Evangel Christian Academy that is committed to LSU for the class of 2018. Baskerville along with safety ArDarius Washington and defensive tackle Davin Cotton all committed to LSU in February during the Boys For The Boot event.

Baskerville is rated the No. 6 inside linebacker in the country and the No. 6 overall player from the state of Louisana for the class of 2018, according to 247Sports.

247 has him as the #19 ILB. Did you just make up the ranking?

Better check your stats. His highest listing is with Rivals who has him at #19 inside lb. ESPN has him as 46. 247 doesn't have him listed in the top 35 at neither ilb or olb.

Doesn't matter his ranking, he's a great head hunter and smart player. Well coached and is a winner. Will likely RS and play his second or 3rd year. Should be a solid player by then.

Click the blue link, its says number 6 ILB. Inside linebackers are different than just all LBS together. You have OLB ratings, ILB ratings and all together LB ratings. He provided the link, stop hating. Dude is a talent, and you probably just caught him on an off day
