Four-star cornerback Kary Vincent Jr. from Port Arthur, TX (Memorial) announced Sunday night that he has committed to LSU for the class of 2017.

He chose the Tigers over Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Texas A&M and TCU with this video on Campus Insiders.

Vincent Jr. is rated the No. 2 overall cornerback in the country and the No. 4 overall player from the state of Texas for 2017, according to ESPN.

His father played college football at Texas A&M and was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 1992 NFL Draft.

LSU now has 17 verbal commits for the class of 2017.

Can you believe there is still people out there who believe that LSU is not DBU!? The best corner in the league is LSU Alumni, there's also alot of corners in the league from LSU who are starters or strong rotation guys and let's not forget the LSU safeties all over the league, some have had long careers. The proof is in the pudding. If you want to be an elite DB, LSU is where you want to be!

Welcome to Tiger Town Mr. Vincent! Lots of great football players have come out of your hometown. I'm old enough to have seen Joe Washington play. Welcome to the Purple and Gold of LSU and Death Valley. Playing in Tiger Stadium will amp you up a few more notches on game day!

This is why schools have"camps". Recruiting services might see 1 game of a kid before ranking him. Coaches know they are a joke and is mainly for fans enjoyment.

I believe Les took the fence around Louisiana down just so he can extend it to include TX.

I usually dislike all the hype and shite that goes into high school recruiting. But that video was badass. Welcome aboard (hopefully).
