Brian Kelly and the LSU coaching staff landed a commitment from three-star defensive tackle Dilan Battle on Monday afternoon.

The 6-2, 315-pound lineman from Arlington, Texas, chose the Tigers over offers from Cal, Arkansas, TCU, Alabama, Auburn, and many other schools.

Battle is the third defensive tackle addition for LSU this cycle, joining four-star linemen Zion Williams and Brandon Brown.

He is the 22nd verbal commitment for the class of 2025.

We’ve been hearing about all the DT’s we were in the mix for, not once did I hear or read about DT Dilan Battle. That just shows you Bo Davis have those antennas up scoping out talent. Please don’t look at his rating, look at his offers, that’ll tell if he’s worth it.
