Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
Talened four-star defensive tackle Jalen Lee from Watson, LA joined ESPN's Baton Rouge "Off The Bench" radio show on Wednesday to announce that he is committed to LSU.

Lee, a 6-4, 290-pound prospect from Live Oak HS, becomes the third defensive linemen to commit to LSU this week and the seventh defensive linemen in the Tigers 2020 class.

LSU now has 20 verbal commits for the class of 2020 with the addition of Lee.

Add Roy, Guillory and a couple OTs, I don't care if we are #1 or not. It will be the most complete class we may have ever had

sign as many DT as we can, it's a thin position that has to be the strength of the team to win championships

I love to see the Tigers getting linemen on both sides. This is a championship type of class. Complete.

Don's worry, LSU will not turn down talent. They'll take Jacobian Guillory and Jaquelin Roy when they want in and even Vernon Broughton if he wants in as well and process out some of the lesser ranked players if necessary.

Ed’s not gonna sit around and wait for these boys to flip-flop on signing day. Got burned and left empty handed too many times by these kids. Boys from the boot better hop on, cuz Ed ain’t waitin.

I respect his decision to back off his commitment in a few months when Bama offers him a car.

You never say no to talent. If Vernon Broughton wants in too you take him as well and then later you decide who stays and who leaves afterward. Meanwhile, next year we must also get 5-star DT Maason Smith from Houma.

Turning out to be one hell of a recruiting class. Add a few offensive linemen and we will be #1

Awesome news! It may officially be time to start looking for the olinemen. They are basically the only thing left we need other than upgrading our current players at other positions if possible (looking at you Roy and Guillory).

It's not that they haven't been recruiting offensive linemen. Instead, it is they can't control when recruits finally pull the trigger. Nonetheless, since the class is filling up fast, don't be surprised to see a few offensive linemen finally pull the trigger soon for fear of being left out. My guess is we end up with Crawford at OT, Dumerville at OT, and Van Pran at Center. On defense, I think we end up with Guillory and Roy, but if someone like Vernon Broughton wants in too, I believe they would take him and process a lower rated recruit out. And lastly, I think we will end up with one running back and possibly another safety or WDE/Outside Linebacker.
