For one I do not consider a FG kicker a special teams player - a good kicker is a major team element. More important than a ko team blocker or return man. Ditto for a great punter - an extreme necessity - a defensive weapon. The FG kicker is a great offensive weapon under, at times, tremendous pressure to be successful.

"How many kickers does Miles need?"

He's just looking for the right successor to Jordan Jefferson.

Added Gamble to a scholarship last year and he will never be a regular field goal kicker. Isnt LSU's current kicker a WALK-ON? How many kickers does Miles need?
