Havelock coach Jim Bob Bryant confirmed late Monday that senior was no longer on the team. He did not elaborate.

Joyner entered the 2015 season as one of the most highly-recruited players in the state. He held numerous offers from high-profile colleges and reportedly had narrowed his choices to a handful, including North Carolina, Louisiana State and Florida State as his favorites.

I quit the baseball team my senior year so that I could get a job. I'm sure he did the same thing

He's been watching ESPN talk about Fournette and he doesn't want to get hurt and jeopardize his college career. He's also going to sit out his three years of college eligibility to make sure he gets to the NFL.

Most of you don't know this but Derrius Guice was kicked off his Highschool football team for a while as well. It was due to academic troubles, this is probably the case with Joyner.

Heard the coach is a big liberal and felt that with all the sacks and tackles by Joyner it was a unfair advantage to keep him on there team.
