Cook is the younger brother of former Florida State running back Dalvin Cook and is currently committed to the Seminoles.

His top schools are Florida State, Alabama, LSU, Oregon, USC, Auburn, Florida, and Georgia.

The 6-0, 182-pound prospect from Miami Central High School is rated the No. 2 running back in the country, according to Rivals.

Sounds like he wants attention if he's committed to FSU and still feels the need to put out a top 8 list.

He put his list out on 3/10 and committed on 3/11, but yes, I'm sure he wants the attention.

I agree that he probably wouldn't want to follow his brother. So I feel we have a shot. But so does everyone else for that matter. Long way to go.

Lol, hell no. There is nobody in the class that could compare to the top 3 backs from last year.

"...committed to the Seminoles." "...unveiled his top eight schools..." Recruiting in 2017: It's like getting engaged, then announcing to the world all the girls you are still dating.

Exactly, why the hell would you want to go to the same school as your brother unless you played with him, I could understand that but playing in his shadow, nah. Then you have a ton of great back before you. You go to LSU your probably starting and not for a scrub school either. It's LSU

Sooner or later we are going to pick up one of these bad** backs. God knows we need it for next year. Who wouldn't want to line up in an LSU backfield. Comon down my dudes.

Gotta love being committed and releasing top schools. I know it would be hard to steal Davlin's little brother up FSU did just sign Akers and another 5* back.
