I wouldn’t get too excited if he does commit. He’s still got another year of HS left.

I want a joe burrow clone; smart, accurate and tough with the ability to run when needed.

I do too but Joe Burrow’s don’t grow on trees, gonna have to adjust to the talent we get. Even after that they likely won’t be able to match this season and a heisman trophy.

at Chitiger, seems like Ohio State and Oklahoma have a QB every damn year... must be something... all about that scheme...

When I hear “duel threat” I can’t help but think of some of the worst offense performances in college football. Reference Brandon Harris and Jefferson

I give JJ and BH the benefit of the doubt and say they were in a poor system. Brady might have done wonders with them.

Idk JJ didnt have the mental aptitude to run a quick thinking offense like that and BH was incredibly inaccurate on short passes. Those arent system problems

With this offense think more like Justin Fields.

Not getting excited until signing day. Kids are too wishy washy

Everyone knows this. It doesn’t mean it’s not good news for LSU that a highly rated QB is coming for a visit. It’s okay to get a little excited about it.

Has a dual threat quarterback ever won the national championship?

Off the top of my head just from our conference: Jalen, Tebow, Cam. Add Vince young, Ohio State's 3 QBs the year they won it. Not to mention that most of the QBs these days have running ability.

Seems like LSU and DT QB's just don't go together. But, then again, we now have a coaching staff that knows something about it.

You do know that Burrow was classified as a dual threat coming out of HS.

I get so dang tired of “fans” casting shade toward Jefferson. THE SYSTEM WAS THE PROBLEM. The Jefferson family has been loyal to LSU. I have much appreciation for them. First class folks and young men.

Dual-threat and black are synonymous? Stereotype much?

If I am stereotyping, why has no one mentioned Burrow and Matt Flynn as dual threat QBs at LSU? They both are/were exactly that!!! Why only mention JJ and B. Harris? GTFOH... Flyn had nearly as many rushing yards, attempts, and rushing TD as B. Harris... There is bias at play in this discussion, but the statistics say I'm not the one displaying it. CHECK THE STATS!
