ESPN and CBS Sports released updated NCAA Tournament projections this week which included LSU.

ESPN has the Tigers as a No. 6 seed playing No. 11 San Francisco in San Diego, Calif. in the West bracket. The winner would go on to play the winner of No. 3 Texas Tech vs. No. 14 Montana State in the second round.

CBS also has LSU as a No. 6 seed playing No. 11 Davidson in Milwaukee, Wis. in the South bracket. The winner would go on to play the winner of No. 3 Wisconsin vs. No. 14 Liberty in the second round.

The Tigers are currently 18-7, (6-6 SEC) with a NET Ranking of 16.

This week, LSU will host Georgia on Wednesday and play at South Carolina on Saturday.

Well how about that. Liberty is on his bracket despite being one of those cupcakes we we beat on the way to our undefeated pre-conference schedule. Lots of those cupcakes are doing well after their loss to us.

Just stop with the nonesense. This team is who we (and media and coaches) thought they were. 6th best team in the sec is meeting expectations. You fans who jumped on the bandwagon at (13-0) need to understand that this was never "the year". Making the tournament as a 6 seed in a rebuild year is pretty remarkable.
