The Houston Rockets drafted LSU forward Tari Eason with the 17th overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft.

Eason, a transfer from Cincinnati, was LSU's best player this past season averaging 16.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and one assist per game coming off the bench.

The Los Angeles native was named first-team All-SEC by the league coaches and earned the Sixth Man Award.

He has all the tools to be a successful NBA player. I really like how his game translates. Young, wealthy, and professional athlete in Houston? Dudes gonna kill it with the ladies. Be smart and I wish him the best.
