LSU Loses At Alabama, 70-67

Per LSUSports.net: TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 13 LSU drops to 15-3 (3-3 SEC) after falling to Alabama, 70-67.
Tari Eason led the Tigers in scoring tonight with a career-high 26 points. His ten rebounds also notched his 5th double-double of the season. Freshman Brandon Murray also put up a career-high 19 points and grabbed six rebounds. LSU was shorthanded from the start tonight with guard Xavier Pinson missing his third consecutive game with a knee injury, but Darius Days also left the game in the first half and did not return.
Alabama was led by Jaden Shackelford who had 26 points on 7-18 shooting and 9-11 from the free-throw line. Guard Jahvon Quinerly also had 17 points.
The Tigers remain on the road and will head to Knoxville, Tennessee, for a rematch against the Vols on Saturday, January 22 at 5:00 p.m. CT on ESPN.
