Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE – No. 21 LSU grabbed its first SEC win of the year as they defeated the No. 16 Kentucky Wildcats by a score of 65-60 on Tuesday night inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

LSU was led by Tari Eason, who had 13 points, six rebounds and three assists. Xavier Pinson joined Eason in the double-digit point category with 11 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Of course media is not giving LSU their due, constantly bringing up the injury to Wheeler in the first few moments. SMH injuries happen and if you are a great team you can overcome them. Kentucky is a good team, LSU was better tonight period. Give them their due credit CBS and ESPN
