Jordan Mickey Issues Statement On Draft Speculation

Mickey needs to strongly consider the benefits of coming back and playing on a good team. It'll give him a chance to become a better FT shooter in games, improve mid-range game, and be more recognized if he's plays well on a good team.

If he can improve his draft stock to be a first round pick after another year at LSU he will have a much higher paying contract/signing bonus than he will this year as a late round pick.

As a late round pick he's going to get less money have have much more competition to resign. He will still have competition to resign but he will already have first round pick money. Theres a big difference between $8 mil. vs. $800k.

I honestly think he can make more money in the NBA if he stays another year.

It so funny, that all these kids get mad when people say they're going pro, they whine and say "i haven't made a decision yet", then a month later announce they're going pro.

How will another year help? When he can go get professional coaching in the NBA. Go chase your dream young man,thanks for putting on the purple & gold.
