UL-Lafayette beats LSU in rain-shortened game, 4-1 (5 innings)

BATON ROUGE -- LSU (7-1) fell to Louisiana-Lafayette (8-1) by a score of 4-1 thru five complete innings at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field. The game was delayed due to rain in the top of the sixth inning. Because it is a non-conference game, only five innings have to be completed before the game can be considered over.
