During LSU's Media Day on Friday, head coach Paul Mainieri revealed the Tigers starting lineup and the weekend pitching rotation to start the season.

Mainieri said he plans on Caleb Gilbert, Zack Hess and Todd Peterson being the Tigers' opening weekend starters vs. Notre Dame when the season begins on Friday, February 16.

Mainieri also unveiled what team's starting lineup might look like.

1: Josh Smith, SS
2: Zach Watson CF
3: Antoine Duplantis, RF
4: Hunter Feduccia, C
5: Bryce Jordan/Jake Slaughter
6: Daniel Cabrera, LF
7: Bryce Jordan/Slaughter
8: Beau Jordan, DH
9: Brandt Broussard, 2B
