Per LSUSports.net: The Arkansas Razorbacks outlasted LSU on Thursday night to win, 5-4, at Baum-Walker Stadium.

LSU’s record is now 23-10 overall and 7-6 in the conference. Arkansas advances to 26-7 on the season and 9-4 in the SEC.

The Tigers will return to Baum-Walker Friday night, April 15, at 6:00 p.m. CT for game two of the series. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network and available to listen to live on affiliates of the LSU Sports Radio Network.

Thompson ain't it. I would rather cranford hitting 9th with a .200 average if he can give us plus defense

He seems overwhelmed at the SS position. Can't give teams more than 3 outs in an inning. That was a W last night, and we 'booted' it away. Props to the team for battling with their bats. They got to the SP the third time through the order and put up enough runs to win.

What did he do? He became a student athlete so a bunch of out of shape middle-aged men could blast him from their couches for trying to grow through his struggles.
