LSU Lands Commitment From Auburn OF Chris Stanfield

Jay Johnson landed another commitment from the transfer portal on Tuesday, with Auburn outfielder Chris Stanfield giving his verbal pledge to LSU.

The sophomore from Tallahassee, Fla., had a .276 BA, 4 HR's, 25 RBI's, and 9 SB's last season.

51 games played and mostly in the SEC with a .276 batting average. Not bad at all, speed also. Had 9 stolen bases. Can only improve next year. Good added depth. GEAUX TIGERS!

Mac Bingham 360 BA at AZ. 251 at LSU. Didn't help us much.

Michael Braswell 255 at USCe...311 at LSU. Helped us a ton.

Nothing is guaranteed in baseball.
