CPM hasn't had a balanced team in forever. Our pitchers can't pitch shutouts everytime out against other teams best pitchers. And without putting any pressure on the other pitcher he can spend a whole game throwing what he wants at every point in the count.

We can't keep losing the first games of weekend series with our best pitcher on the mound. Gotta find a way to work around great pitching and find ways to score runs.

Gibbs was thrown into a position due to necessity. Cannizaro left at the beginning of November. It would have been difficult to pluck a decent hitting coach from another team. The hitting coach plays a large day to day role, but the veterans on this team did not forget how to hit. Older guys have to step in to make up the difference for the learning curve the younger guys are going through with SEC pitching.

Why were Gibbs and Cain hired as coaches ( both are graduate assistants who know very little about coaching)? LSU should hire Mike Bianco as head coach who brings on a great batting coach, everyone happy. When the Tigers are a top tier team in recruiting year after year, and nothing to show for it .... sad story. Long time since '09!

Another solid effort by Lange wasted. I know the easy thing to do is blame Coach Manieri. But folks, he hasn't stepped in the batters box in years. It's becoming painfully obvious to me that the biggest loss from last year's team is not a player, but a coach. Andy Cannizaro had the Tigers atop most offensive categories in the SEC each year he was here. Without him, this team is dead in the water. Getting shut down by Florida is one thing, but A&M is not Florida. Sorry gang, but don't book tickets to Omaha! At least not this year!

PM is absolutely pathetic. This team has no energy what so ever. It is painful to watch such a talented team lose games like this.
