Primeaux managed just 2.1 innings of work this past season.

DJ Primeaux served primarily in relief during his three years at LSU, earning 20 strikeouts in 20 total innings while allowing nine earned runs and 14 walks. The pitcher was a member of the Tigers for both of LSU's national championships in 2023 and 2025.

This is the right move for him. He was a great situational guy on the ‘25 title team, and I will always remember him for that.
