We lost a SEC legend this summer in former Kentucky QB Jared Lorenzen. To honor him this football season, the Wildcats have declared October 12th "Jared Lorenzen Day" in Kroger Field when they take on Arkansas...
quote:(Saturday Down South)
Fans can use the offer code “TWENTYTWO” (Lorenzen’s jersey number) online at Ticketmaster.com to receive $22 off tickets to the Arkansas game in select areas of Kroger Field.
Per the announcement, commemorative rally towels will be distributed at the gates for ticketed fans upon entry. The Lorenzen family and his teammates are also invited to attend and take part in remembering the UK great.
The announcement graphic references Lorenzen’s famous “hell of a game quote.” When the Wildcats trailed the Hogs in the second half, Lorenzen noticed some departing fans and yelled into the stands that they were going to miss “a hell of a game.”
