I've seen more scared deer running through the quad.

Those deer looked anything but scared.

That's a big fricking alligator. And those deer don't looked scared at all. They could outrun that thing with minimal effort so they knew they were in absolutely no danger.

"The animals actually coexisted peacefully" LOL. Did they expect the stubby-legged alligator to try and start chasing deer that can run like 25mph?

Yeah, "coexisted" until one of those deer goes for a drink of water, then we'll see some real "coexisting".

An alligator can hit 30 mph in short bursts.

an alligator hitting 30mph on LAND?! LOL no. I mean, if by "short bursts" you mean "a couple of yards" then sure. But there's absolutely no way they are chasing down a deer on open terrain.

I got arrested at that golf course when I was practicing my drives. Not knowing what kind of deer they were, I asked..."they are free range deer", so heck, why not, I shot a couple of the free deer. Bad move.
