I remember recently at a hs fb game, they announced lightning was seen & for all players, cheerleaders, & band to go inside for their safety.

I was wondering about us observers just sitting in the stands.

If it was already lightning in the area, then he is quite the dumbass standing under a tree. If he had been killed, he would be a surefire Darwin candidate.
