WWE star John Cena is changing "Throwback Thursday" to "True Bench Thursday" with this video he posted on Twitter of him bench pressing 440-pounds...

Not bad for being 38 years old.

Yea, not a powerlifter or as Arnold calls 'em, "pregnant men". I prefer to be cut and semi-jacked than fat pregnant looking men with abs over their fat bellies.

@Double Down if your program is based off percentages as most power lifters are moving to, then you need that one rep max so you can figure out what to base your workout on.

And who doesn't like to see how much you can actually do 1 time?

@GeorgeTheGreek - uhhhh, I'd crush my fricking sternum and rib cage if I tried to bounce 440lbs off of it. Guess what? So would you.

I've never been a big fan of 1 bench rep though. What's the point? Do the weight you can do at least 6+ times. That's more impressive.
