What about the thousands of people who’ve ridden and never had issues? I haven’t ridden this particular coaster but I have been on one that’s similar. The ride itself was pretty smooth although the flipping is completely disorientating.

If they did have pre-existing issues, but those issues were unknown, then the ride is a risk to the general public, and should be shut down, as it was. If they had known pre-existing issues and were not warned that those issues could present a danger, then that’s on the amusement park. If they didn’t have any pre-existing issues and the ride caused the described injuries, then the ride should be shut down, as it was. BTW, I have been to Six Flags Magic Mountain multiple times and my family and I had no issues. Above is obviously just my opinion, but I am an expert on brain trauma, as I am a Board-Certified Neurologist, who trained near Magic Mountain at UCLA Medical Center.
