I live right down the road from Cape Canaveral and get to see them all. The launches are spectacular at Night!

I was a junior at UF when Space Shuttle Challenger went up. A bunch of us students were outside our dorm jumping up, cheering, “Go, Go, Go”. We all didn’t know what happened when it exploded, many thought it was normal, maybe a rocket booster was separating or perhaps it went into outer space. It took some time before we all realized something went terribly wrong. That was such a sad day that no one there will ever forget.

Just another day where government is doing its best to keep up with the innovation of the private sector.

NASA's been launching humans into space since the 60's. I'd say they're doing ok.
