Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze spoke with reporters on Monday and conveyed a message to the fans to stick with the team "through the growing pains."
quote:

“My ask is to stick with us through the growing pains and support our guys, and efforts in our recruiting, because the results are going to come,” Freeze said.
The Tigers (2-3) are coming off two straight losses and travel to No. 5 Georgia on Saturday.

"We're not that far off?"

That's about as comfortable as an athletic director saying his coach has a vote of confidence through the end of the season in midst of a 4-5 game losing streak.

With decent QB play SEEing wide open receivers, we would be 5-0 right now. Aaron Murray lit Thorne up with his breakdowns.

So yes, we’re not far off… should have went to the Portal Freeze.

Nawww he's not actually calling out to the fans here. He's indirectly calling out to his own administration.
