Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl met with the media on Monday and spoke about guard Lior Berman, who suffered a season-ending ACL injury vs. Mississippi State on Saturday. Per AL.com
The absence of Berman will likely mean more playing time for Chris Moore, Pearl said.

“So disappointed for Lior. He had worked his way into a really good spot in the regular rotation. We had such great confidence in Lior,” Pearl said to open his press conference Monday.
“I probably should’ve been playing him more sooner almost every year that he’s been in the program,” Pearl said. “It’s hard to understand. To miss March... he’s worked so hard to put himself in this position.”
Pearl went on to add that Berman suffered a “complete ACL tear.”
And while that sounds like the worst case scenario for Berman, it’s actually good news, Pearl says.
“He’s going to be fine. He’s going to recover,” Pearl said. “There’s no other damage, the knee was really solid.”
