Auburn landed a commitment from New Zealand offensive line standout Nikau Hepi this week.

The 6'7, 353-pound offensive tackle from the NFL Academy Asia-Pacific on Australia’s Gold Coast began his career playing rugby and only took up American football in late 2024.

Hepi is the first-ever student-athlete from the NFL Academy Asia-Pacific campus to commit to a U.S. college.

He is rated a three-star prospect and ranked among the top 300 offensive tackles in his class.

The 2019 LSU team had a few Pacific Islander DL and Breiden Fehoko and his dad used to do it before every game as the team was coming down victory hill going into the stadium. It was bad arse.
